of nowhere and everywhere

Happy times never last forever...No matter how happy you are at a point of time, sometime in life, things will always change and you end up finding yourself surrounded by walls of despair. Sometimes, the walls are soft, they can easily crumble in your hands if you have the courage to push yourself through it, but at times, these walls can be solid and thick...no matter which way you go (climbing is never ending, pushing creates nothing, waiting is forever..), the walls just surrounds you and disintegrate only after a long long time...

What i just said can be rather depressing, after all, it doesn't sound too positive does it? But truths remain as truths and even if we cn change them, it takes time and lots of effort and persistence. Which, as you would have guessed, is not easy.BUT, possible....

In times of need then only do we seek solace from the One. Maybe, God tests us this way because he wants to see if we still remember and love Him. When we are happy, we forget about Him, but by being sad, He is all we have in our minds. Maybe that is why God makes us unhappy, so that we would never forget Him...

No matter how difficult my situation or how depressing life can be or how heartbreaking things can get, all I am going to do now is focus on one thing and get them over and done with. I had managed to do that during my poly times. I had managed to push one thing out of my life in order to focus on another, this time should be no different. Yup, the problem will remain, but until the other things have not been achieved or completed, there is no reason for me to moan and worry and harp on the other thing. It takes lots of effort and I am very unsure of the outcome, but again, life is a gamble, you take a risk and see the results.....yes, let's just wait for one and work for the other........

You know at times, it starts to get scary when the world is too transparent? Everything that you do...what you eat, what you wear, what you say, might just be filmed and recorded.... Nowadays with that website- stomp.com, everything is displayed. From weird to very weird to very very weird behaviours are there and the worst part is, you never know that it might just be you to get filmed.

Nowadays, whatever I do, I am careful. I don't prance around singing at the top of my lungs, or have big loud laughters anymore. You never know, I might just be the one filmed inside that website. Haha.."that'd never happen Fattanah, you're just thinking too much!" Truth is, nothing but everything is possible....

The super duper luper mooper cooper long break which just passed was kinda meaningful in some way. I managed to catch up on the assignments, studied a liiiiiiiiiittle bit for the upcoming test, and worked my ass off on Saturday till Monday. But I played hard too and went kite flying with the boyfriend on Tuesday, cos I had been wanting to fly one for so long. We did fly a kite......for a mere 20 seconds (that's the longest it went up for) before it dropped and smashed into the ground, the wooden structures crumbling under the weight of the plastic.:(

Of course, I was sad..no no, I was devastated.. I mean, I travelled all the way to Punggol, ran a couple of miles trying to get it to fly and in the end? It didn't fly.pfft....I shall try again someday..hhrrmmpphh.

Went for a hip hop session with Mirah just now and while waiting for dinner, I suddenly thought back and created a quote:

'Dancing is like a writer's draft, it keeps changing until it gets perfect'
Yeah, just change and change and add and subtract some of the steps and finally, you gain one perfect step. Just like how a writer writes. How do I know that? Cos I've been slogging through 2 essays each 2000+ words required and you can never imagine how many times I had typed and deleted and added more things in. Just to reach my level of perfection.aaahhh... If it was a handwritten essay in pencil, my paper would have holes everywhere from all the erasing.hoho...
I know that this is rather abrupt and I think I owe you guys a proper 'goodbye', but it's 1.15 am and I think it is time to sleep, and I know that if I don't sleep, I'll get so tired I'll drool in my sleep later.hehe...so..good mornite people of the Earth! I love you all Earthlings!haha:):)

Love is in the air...

on the 31st January 2010, the boyfriend and I celebrated our 12th month aka 1 year anni..it somehow went according to plan, so there weren't much pauses in between the activities. Erm, since it was our 1st time really celebrating our anni (we don't usually celebrate or exchange gifts during our monthly anniversaries..hoho), I didn't have too much expectations about it.:D And so, the day started off with him picking me up from my house and we headed on for lunch at....Naked Fish Shoppe (haha, the 1st thing to do is EAT)...

The Food...

His, mine, ours..
After we’ve had our fill, we went on to town to watch a movieeee!! He planned to watch it at Cathay Cineleisure, but no matter how many times he told the uncle of its location and no matter how many times he nodded and said ‘yes, yes’, he still sent us to the wrong place..-___-..So in the end, we ended up at The Grand Cathay near Plaza Sing. The Cathay did not screen the movie that I wanted to watch, ‘the spy next door’ so, we headed back to plaza sing to buy a ticket there. We got a 5.05pm show and since we had 2 hours to spare before the show, we walked around and we ended up at...the arcade..
Yes, we played at the arcade in our dresses and nice shirt and pants. hahaha.. and he was so engrossed in the game he was playing wasn’t he?yeah, and I ended up taking shots of him being engrossed.lol

After having had our fun there, then did we finally head on to the theatres to watch the movie…haha, superbly funny! I was laughing like a mad cow there.hoho…

The movie ended at around 7+pm and even though we were not so hungry (or rather, I wasn’t that hungry) we went on to a place called Bardoque to have dinner. The ambience was great (except for the cats outsideL) but the food was below our expectations..or maybe we just ordered the wrong king of food..so sad. But we did have fun taking pics and then looking at them and telling each other to delete them and retake again. So, these are some of the pics that we managed to snap and retake, or we simply don’t want to let each other delete.hoho…

Haha, seeing all these pics again make me feel sick of pasta. I don't think I am going to have them for another 28984 years...lol...But all in all, I did have a great anni with him..and with the blink of an eye, a year has already passed. I just praythat we can be this way for a long long time...amin...
There may be ups and down through the course of a relationship. But what is important is we stay strong, be patient and willing to accept each other's weaknesses and learn from each others' dislikes so that we do not repeat them again....
