bloommmm...

I am sitting in the computer room at my work place right now... The weather doesn't look too promising outside right now and I fear that this will be a big problem to me considering that I do not carry an umbrella with me these days...

I was on the way to the toilet just now and since I did not want to be interrupted, I went to the floor below instead as there is no one on that floor... While in the lift, I happened to look at my feet and lo and behold! I see a small tear, not noticeable yet visible enough if you were to look closely at it, at the side of the shoe...AARRGGGHH!! not another shoe brokeeennn!!haiz, I have given up, I'll just admit it now, I have gorrila's feet..haiz...

And so, I am hoping right now that my pay will be out soon so that I could purchase another cheap shoe which will yet again, be broken at the side, or peeled at the bottom or just..TEAR OPEN from the top, within 2 months...I should considering buying hiking boots the next time I go shoe shopping..HUUUHH....

My Savings

I like to count. Whenever I walk to the bustop on the way to school, I would count the number of tiles I step on. When I cross the road at the traffic light, I would count the number of dotted boxes leading to the other side of the road. I count everything that comes my way. Even at work, I am required to count: the number of assignments submitted, number of applicants coming for a kid's programme, the number of petals on a flower, the number of children that a school has come with...you get the picture. And yet, even after so many years of counting (I think I started this habit since young), I am still not over this habit of mine..

In the past, I used to count the number of picture tiles as I walk home from my primary school. I used to dream that, if the town council ever held a competition to guess how many tiles are there, I would definitely win the competition..unfortunately, such things never happened, but 10 years later, as I walked down the same path, I still have that same old habit of counting..I guess old habits die hard huh...

Christmas is coming and Christmas sales are popping here and there like mushrooms after the rain..hoho..So many stuffs! All on sale!hrrgghh, I cannot resist the temptation and before I spend all the money that I have, I was smart enough to take them out of the bank and save at home instead..hehe *pats back* But there will be new year sales and I have yet to get some stuffs that I need for the new year...

1. Organiser
2.Comfortable shoes
3. An umbrella
4. More tudung

I need the organizer cos I am a very very very disorganised person.

I broke my 659845070958th pair of shoe and even my mom and sis coudn't be bothered with me any longer..So, I have to get shoe(s) to last me till eternity-_-

My umbrella broke too...and you can actually see me walking in the rain with the umbrella just enough to cover the head cos the sides are flapping all around :(:(

As for the tudung, I have been wearing the same ones till there are VISIBLE holes on them.. New fashion statement: Holey scarf for the season, very cool and definitely trendy!!:(:(

yup, so, I have to buy all those stuffs before I can strt my savings plan..hoho...

New year

December is here. This means that it is a month closer to the new year. Thinking back, many things have taken place this year...More than those from the previous previous years... But atleast one thing's for sure, I managed to achieve one of my resolutions and that is to run in at least 4 marathons...well, they are not really marathons yet cos its not even long distance, but I will make another resolution to increase the distance next year..:):)

Looking back, big, important events already started happening in early 2009...I got into a relationship in January, Started the 1st marathon of the year in March, turned 21(and legally adult) in May, took up another job in August, started going to Geylang Bazaar alot during the fasting month, went to places I've never been to with the love, and now, after all this, I am going to welcome 2010 in a few weeks time...Fast isn't it...?

Of course, besides the good memories, there are also bad, unpleasant ones which I do not wish to remember, much less, disclose it here..Many of which, involves relationships...with friends, families, and also the boyfriend...I had also failed in the financial aspect, not being able to control my cashflow and all...Hence, another of my resolution besides running is to be able to save up more than I have saved this past one year..Old habits die hard, but if there is perseverence, I am sure by the end of 2010, I would be able to proudly say I have again, achieved another one of my resolutions..

In terms of academic, I know I can do better than I have done this year, and although this year's results are disappointing, all fingers point to myself, and I know that only I can help alleviate the current situation I am in...

Every year is the closing of an old chapter and an opening of a new one...Some old stories may be brought forward into the new one, however, what is important is that we keep striding forward and not once give in to the temptations of the past that will only drown us in a pool of failure. That much said, let's look forward to the upcoming year and celebrate it with joy and grace...and be thankful that with God's blessings, we are able to see that year coming...

So, happy December and Happy holidays:D:D:D CHEERS!!

Muziiiik...aaahh....

Music....Songs can really bring a person's mood up...or down... Depending on the type of music one listens to, it can make a person happy but make another feel sad...In short, it is rather subjective (as mentioned by a girl friend, everything is subjective -___-).

I used to like listening to slow songs, they give me this sense of comfort, like, nothing is rushing you and you can go at your own pace...But over the years, I think I got tired of being slow, and instead of motivating me, slow songs start to make me drowsy everytime I hear them, so I switched to fast-beat songs..hoho..Currently, I am listening to 'Jack' by Pixie Lott, and I think fast songs have a more positive impact on me than slow songs..But then again, who cares about what Fattanah thinks right? What is important is, the music or kind of songs you choose are ones that gives you the drive to move forward and not make you shrink back, hide or draw yourself away from the world. So people, listen to good music and enjoy life as it is!:):)
